From my Sketchbook: Possibilities

A gal pal said something to me the other day that folks in my inner circle have been telling me forever. While I do see the reality of a situation,  I focus on the possibility. Guilty as charged. And this is nothing I ever felt the need to defend. Or make up a dog-ate-my-homework excuse for. Perhaps it is because the possibility is so much more entertaining than the reality.

On the flip side, I am not an ostrich, sticking my head in the sand and refusing to accept reality. Hey, if you don’t pay your electric bill, they will turn off your electricity! But if you don’t explore the possibilities, how can you create your new reality?

Falls under the category of “That’s my story and I’m sticking to it”.
